Looking Back at Our Bilingual English–Vietnamese Workshop: Lucky Dragon Lantern Making | 24 Art

Let’s look back at the wonderful moments from 24 Art’s Bilingual English–Vietnamese Lucky Dragon Lantern Making Workshop – a joyful experience where children explored arts and crafts, expressed their creativity, and practiced English in a fun and engaging environment!

Creating Lucky Dragon Lanterns with Marina

With the enthusiastic guidance of Marina, our native English-speaking teacher, the children created colorful dragon lanterns filled with imagination and personality.

From choosing colors and decorating intricate details to completing their lanterns, each child had the freedom to express their own ideas and create a unique piece of art. No two lanterns were exactly alike, as every creation reflected the young artist’s individual imagination and creativity.

Learning English Through Art

What made this workshop special was the combination of art and English language learning. Throughout the activity, children were introduced to English through Marina’s instructions, learned vocabulary related to colors, shapes, and materials, and practiced communicating in meaningful, real-life situations.

The friendly and playful atmosphere encouraged children to participate confidently, ask questions, and enjoy every step of the creative process. English became more than just words in a textbook – it became a natural part of the experience.

Colorful Lanterns, Smiles, and Unforgettable Moments

The best part was not just the beautiful lucky dragon lanterns, but also the excitement and pride the children felt when completing their own creations.

Every lantern told a different creative story, and every smile became a cherished memory. The workshop also gave children the opportunity to develop fine motor skills, nurture their imagination, and explore cultural traditions through art.

A heartfelt thank you to Marina and all our young artists for making this workshop such a joyful, creative, and energetic experience!
